I tried installing Solaris 10 on my latitude C600 yesterday. I was intrigued by the new features added such as dtrace, and zones. However, I couldn't get the install to run successfully on the machine. On the first CD, after the installer had figured out the hardware, it would say something like trying to figure out network settings and then just sit their. In fact, I fell asleep doing this, so it was stuck their the whole night. I'll try to figure out what went wrong later tonight.
I'm running SuSE 9.1 on the laptop right now, and have been considering whether I should upgrade to a newer version of SuSE. I don't really see a reason though.
