I like to keep my dashboard as sparse as I can make it. I don't like having apps that I barely use or care for taking up memory. Its just the way I am. At one point I had as many apps in my dashboard as in the screenshot, but then I noticed how much memory they were eating up, and of they went.

On the other hand, I'm getting very used to using OS X, and soon might become one of those die hard fans, who can't live without their Apple!
